Players and coaches from Longhoughton Rangers Youth Football Club took part in a 247 mile charity challenge over the weekend.
Around 80 people participated in the Northumbeland Border Challenge to raise funds for the Longhoughton Rangers Youth Football Club and Grace House Children's Hospice.

The fundraising group swapped their football boots for their running shoes and bikes as they travelled around the Northumberland border incorporating the Cheviots, Cumbria and Berwick.

But the event wasn't without its drama. Under 11 coach Adam Harris was hit by a car at Goswick in the event's final stages. He is recovering from minor injuries.

It is predicted the event has already raised £7,000.
