Banks responsible for crash
Published Date:

THIS recession is largely caused by big pig bankers, who all have their snouts well, truly and deeply in the trough.
However, they don't have to worry, it's the poor British taxpayer, (as usual), who foots the bill.
As most of our banks have now been nationalised, this is supposed to mean that we now own them.
Why then, having been given a large amount of taxpayers' cash, will the banks not lend to small businesses to help to keep them afloat?
Then, we have Northern Rock, which was the first bank to be given a large amount of taxpayers' money.
I read that one of their customers has been turfed out of his house because he was behind with his mortgage repayments.
How can this happen, as this gentleman, along with the rest of us, is supposed to 'own' this bank?
It's all obviously a case of give and take. We are all made to compulsorily give (and how) while the greedy, grasping big pigs just take, take, take.
I'm now thinking is it the banks who are (mis)running this poor country of ours, and maybe they have been doing this for many years?
