WORK has started on the second phase of an affordable housing development in Kielder.
The new development, contracted by Kendall Cross Holdings, will provide a further six sustainable homes for the area, which will be available to rent from March next year.
The site at Castle View in Kielder Village will feature two and three-bedroom houses.
The overall scheme is in partnership with Tynedale Council, Northumbrian Water, the Forestry Commission and the Environment Agency.
