A SITE visit has been arranged to assess noise problems at a proposed kennels and cattery site near Swarland.
Plans to build the purpose-built dog boarding kennels and cattery on land to the west of Rivendell on Leamington Lane have been met with objections from nearby residents concerned about the noise it could create. At Alnwick District Council's development control committee meeting on Tuesday night, councillors agreed to visit the site to assess concerns.

Coun Trevor Thorne proposed a site visit to check on potential noise problems.

He said: "I think it is quite close to the edge of the settlement of Swarland."
