BUSINESSES in north Northumberland are being invited to attend a free event next month to find out more about current waste issues and get advice on new regulations.
The breakfast seminar will take place between 8am and 10am on Friday, September 26, at Woodhorn Museum, Ashington, and offers small businesses the chance to share their views on recycling and waste management challenges as well as highlighting business opportunities based around the management of waste and recycling.
Advice will also be available on recycling, safe waste disposal and how to reduce costs by minimising waste.
Places for the seminar, which has been organised by the Northumberland Strategic Partnership together with the County Council, will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Contact Northumberland Strategic Partnership on 01670 500650 or email enquiries@nsp.org.uk
