North Shields family raise thousands in memory of father
Family and friends of Brian Moule have come together to so far raise more than £4,200 for Maggie’s Centre in Newcastle.
The fund-raising campaign was started by his daughter Emma, of North Shields, to thank the charity after Brian lost his battle with cancer last May.

And later in the year, five members of #TeamMoule are planning to take part in the Great North Run.
Emma said: “I created #TeamMoule last year when we were first introduced to Maggie’s Newcastle upon my Dad’s heartbreaking diagnosis.
“Sadly three weeks before last year’s Hike my Dad lost his fight with cancer, however we decided to still do the hike in his memory and raised just under £5,000.

“Fund-raising is the lifeblood of Maggie’s. Every penny I raise, will go direct to the centre to help continue their work.”
