Tourism fair is hailed a success
The popular event was staged at Alnwick’s Willowburn Sports and Leisure Centre on Wednesday, March 16.
Philip Angier, of event organiser Local Living, said: “We registered almost 250 visitors in the first two hours, making it a record attendance at Alnwick. We have received lots of positive feedback, both from exhibitors and from those attending the event.

“This year was simply the best yet and our challenge for next year will be to try to find space for some more exhibitor tables. We had to stop taking bookings a month before the event this year.”
The event was supported by Active Northumberland and there were free samples from a variety of local food producers, complimentary hot drinks from Pumphreys and Ringtons and lunchtime buffet provided by Alnwick-based Olive Branch.
