Kaims Country Park North Northumberland Golf League
THE Kaims Country Park North Northumberland Golf League matchplay championship is building to a climax with Bamburgh and Alnwick neck and neck with two games remaining.

Alnwick closed the gap on the leaders to a point after round 14 following a 1
2-0 home victory over Wooler while Bamburgh beat visitors Alnmouth (Foxton) 10-2.

Both clubs have been in tremendous form of late and the battle for the title is certain to go right to the wire.

Third-placed Berwick A also maintained their winning run by taking maximum points away to Percy Wood and clearly haven't given up the fight but a seven-point deficit means they have it all to do.

Linden Hall, Alnmouth (Foxton) and Alnmouth Village are all contesting fourth place.
